Since we were founded in 2019, Veridata Insights has acknowledged the importance of maintaining diversity within our team. This mindset has been, and will continue, to shape our fundamental values as well as our company culture overall. We do not believe in using this as a metric to gauge our integrity, but rather we view it as sound business sense.
Because we have held this belief from the beginning, we have never had to rely on a formal framework, or on a mandatory action plan, to ensure that equality was upheld within our team as we grew from 2 to 16 to 50 employees.
The best ideas are forged from people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. It is always important to understand one another’s perspective, even when you agree, but especially when you disagree. In fact, it is out of this friction between differences of opinion where we believe we’ve created our most successful initiatives.
When diversity is forced, it may lead to uncertain outcomes. However, it is only by ensuring that you are reaching out to the full spectrum of candidates, that you will have the best chance to hire the best talent; regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, orientation, age, geography or any other of the myriad differences which make us human.
