Privacy Policy Background:
Veridata Insights (“Veridata Insights,” “we,” or “us”), collaborates with clients worldwide to help them conduct market research studies and deliver high-quality data they can trust. In order to successfully execute the research, we often collect permission based contact information such as first name, last name, cell phone number, email address and/or home address.
Veridata Insights Privacy Policy:
At Veridata Insights, we respect and value the privacy of others. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, shared and safeguarded when participating in research conducted by Veridata Insights, and to help you understand and exercise your privacy rights.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By participating in our research projects, you consent to the collection and use of your information by us as set out in this Privacy Policy.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US DIRECTLY:
When you engage in any one of our research projects, we may ask you for certain personal information, which may include your name, telephone number, postal address and email address. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from participation.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Veridata Insights and our partners use personal information for our legitimate research purposes, including those specifically described below. We engage in these activities to manage our contractual relationships with our partners, to comply with a legal obligation and/or because we have a legitimate business interest as it relates to market research.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION:
With your consent, we may share your personal information with third parties for market research purposes ONLY, as permitted by law. Note that any and all partners that we share personal information with will (by default) already have a signed NDA agreement on file with us, and we require those partners to honor this Privacy Policy.
If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your personal information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the transferee may decline to honor commitments we made in this Privacy Policy. Finally, we may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
DATA PROTECTION:
At Veridata Insights, handling personal data is top priority and the forefront of how our systems are designed to operate. Participant privacy and data protection rights are thoughtfully observed, and privacy is protected via secure systems, industry standard technology, and transparent communication. Veridata Insights is fully GDPR, CCPA and any other local privacy regulation compliant for the collection and processing of personal data. We are ISO compliant and operational processes strictly adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standard guidelines. Please be aware that, although we strive to keep your personal data completely secure, no security measures are absolute.
We have taken appropriate safeguards to demand that your personal information will remain protected and require our third-party service providers and partners to have appropriate safeguards as well. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for unauthorized disclosure.
DATA RETENTION:
Veridata Insights will retain your personal information only for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was collected unless a) a longer or shorter time period is required by applicable law and/or industry regulations OR b) you request that the data be deleted earlier.
In determining how long to retain information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the information, the purposes for which we process the information, applicable legal requirements, industry regulations and our legitimate business interests.
While Veridata Insights has introduced policies in line with ISO 20252 about the maximum retention periods for Personal Data, it is also our policy to reduce such retention periods whenever possible, either by deleting or anonymizing the relevant Personal Data.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS:
In accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access personal information about you/yourself, including:
- Confirming whether we are processing your personal information
- Obtaining access to or a copy of your personal information
- Receiving an electronic copy of personal information that you have provided to us, OR
- Asking us to send that information to another company (the “right of data portability”)
- Request correction of your personal information where it is inaccurate or incomplete. In some cases, we may provide self-service tools that enable you to update your personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Request restriction of or object to our processing of your personal information
- Withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information.

AUTHORIZED AGENT:

VERIFICATION:
To protect your privacy, we will take the following steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. When you make a request, we will ask you to provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative, which may include digital IP address collection, copy of driver’s license and/or other government ID.
